Kendall ?Da Spyder? Grove (12-7-0-1) took to his twitter account Tuesday to post word on his next bout. It seems the TUF Season 3 victor will venture back into the cage at The Ultimate Fighter 12 Finale. His opponent is none other than perennial contender, and recognized Jiu Jitsu ace Demian Maia (13-2).

Grove last competed at UFC 116: Lesnar VS. Carwin where he successfully rebounded from his defeat to Mark Munoz (at UFC 112: Invincible) with a split decision victory over power puncher Goran Reljic. Demian Maia just competed at UFC 118: Edgar VS. Penn 2,...

According to MMAjunkie.com, Gabe Ruediger (17-6) will get another crack at snagging a win under the UFC banner. A former TUF cast member, Ruediger was booted from the show after he failed to make weight during filming. Contrary to early comments made by Dana White, Ruediger was offered a second fight (he first made his promotional debut at UFC 63, where he was stopped early in the second round by Melvin Guillard) with the promotion after piecing together a six fight win streak and earning a Tachi Palace Fights title.

Following Manny Pacquiao's statements that he would like to try his hand on MMA in the future, KJ Noons is first in line to challenge boxing's pound for pound best if he were to make the jump and would also return the favor and take a boxing match against Pacman:

"I would love to welcome Pacquiao into MMA. It would be an ideal situation for him because I don't take guys down to the ground, and after that's all said and done in the cage, I would be willing to step inside of the ring with him...
NEWKIRK, OK (September 8, 2010) - As anyone involved in the sport of mixed martial arts can tell you, injuries can happen at anytime. UFC/PRIDE veteran Marcus ?Maximus? Aurelio is no exception to that concept. After sustaining an injury while training for this weekend?s Shine Fights Lightweight Grand Prix, the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu master has been forced to vacate his spot in the tourney. Taking his place will be fellow submission specialist Shannon Gugerty.

A UFC veteran in his own right, Gugerty is a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under famed grappler Dean Lister. He began his professional MMA...
After storming onto the UFC Heavyweight scene with a vicious KO of Tim Hague in a record 8 seconds, Todd Duffee was looking to continue that vicious streak against Mike Russow, unfortunately, Russow had a chin of steal and provided one of the greatest come from behind wins in UFC history when he knocked Duffee out in the third round of their bout.

Whatever the reason behind it, Todd Duffee has been cut by the UFC and according to his manager Alex Davis, it may have been Duffee's attitude that was the final straw for the UFC:

Dan Hardy has been outspoken against wrestlers in MMA and at one point has said that Georges St. Pierre fights to save his belt instead of going for the finish. This week Hardy continues his crusade against wrestlers:

"In interviews this week, I've been asked if another two losses in addition to my loss to George St-Pierre and Paul Daley's defeat to Josh Koscheck, shows that the Rough House needs to bring in new wrestling coaches in order to be successful in the UFC ... UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St. Pierre was a guest on Sportsnet Connected this week and spoke about his upcoming fight with Josh Koscheck, and the trash talk that comes with it:

"I believe a lot of the guys try to take me off track. They do that, because I do believe skill wise and technically I'm the best fighter in the world. They want to take me off track. They want me to fight with my anger and not with my head and my heart. I'm not going to do that mistake."

So, James Toney put his jewels on the table, entered the cage, and got worked over by Randy Couture in a few brief minutes, so what? The vast majority of those who pay combat sports any form of attention saw that outcome a mile off. To expect a boxer with less than a single years worth of MMA training to topple a mixed martial artist as seasoned as Randy Couture is just ludicrous. At the same time, to expect Randy Couture to enter a boxing ring and defeat James Toney at his own game is pure...
