  • The Breakdown: Henderson vs Bisping
Michael DiSanto, UFC - Michael Bisping made no bones about the fact that he wanted Dan Henderson to defeat Rich Franklin when the two fought to determine who would coach opposite Bisping during the ninth season of The Ultimate Fighter. He has openly questioned Hendo's age and doesn't shy away from the fact that he wants to be the first man to ever knock out the all-time great. Those beliefs are great. But that is the sort of bulletin board material that a fighter might want to keep to himself in the days and weeks leading up to the fight. Hendo has enough motivation as it is, since Bisping clearly got under his skin during the taping of TUF. Toss in the extra motivation of a trash-talking opponent and he becomes borderline scary.

  • Warning Dont Talk to Shannon Gugerty when Hes Working
Thomas Gerbasi, UFC - "Come on Shannon."The first time Shannon Gugerty heard Spencer Fisher talking to him, he almost couldn't believe it. There was no bad blood between the two lightweights before their UFC 90 bout in Illinois last October, so there wouldn't have been any reason for the two not to talk, but it was 30 seconds into their fight that Fisher decided to start up a conversation after Gugerty took him to the mat.

  • Jake OBrien -Dont Count Him Out
Thomas Gerbasi, UFC - Being referred to as a veteran of the fight game at the age of 24 may make him "feel old", but there's no question that Jake O'Brien has seen plenty in his two and half year career in the Octagon. From dizzying highs to crippling lows and everything in between, O'Brien enters his UFC 100 bout with Jon Jones as a fighter who has been the hot prospect, been the young gun with the "0" at the end of his record, and found out that there is no such thing as invincible - at least not in this game.

  • TJ Grant -Full Speed Ahead
Thomas Gerbasi, UFC - If TJ Grant was going to break, this was the perfect time to do it. It didn't matter that he had won 13 of 15 pro mixed martial arts fights, including two out of three in the same arena in Montreal where he stood now on April 18th. This was the one people were going to remember, his UFC debut before 21, 451 fans. Across the Octagon stood Ryo Chonan, a fighter who had already sent the likes of Anderson Silva, Carlos Newton, Mach Sakurai, and Joey Villasenor to defeat. Cornering Chonan was one of Grant's favorite fighters of all-time, Dan Henderson. Now Henderson was telling Chonan how to beat him.

  • They Call Him Bruce
Mike Russell, UFC - If you were to tune in to a UFC broadcast for the first time, one of the first things to likely grab your attention would be the manic ringmaster in the impeccably tailored suit whose feverish gesticulations and frenzied articulations of the pending event's participants' names and vital statistics has the crowd hanging on his every syllable.

  • UFC BRIT PACK RALLY BEHIND BISPING
London, England - An army of Brits currently competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship(R) organisation have come out in force and unanimously backed countryman Michael 'The Count' Bisping to overcome Dan Henderson at UFC 100(R) on Saturday, July 11 in Las Vegas.

  • Paul Kelly is 'one million per cent confident' in Bisping
Elliot Worsell, UFC - Wolfslair disciple Paul 'Tellys' Kelly was never going to back Dan Henderson to beat teammate Michael Bisping. That much is a given. However, it still comes as a surprise when you hear just how unwavering Kelly is in his belief that Bisping will dominate the former PRIDE champion at UFC 100.

  • Hardonk, Cool Under Pressure, Foils Mugging in LA
Thomas Gerbasi, UFC - We all know the old adage about 'strength in numbers', but you have to think that the three young men who tried to mug 6 foot 4, 245 pound UFC heavyweight Antoni Hardonk in Los Angeles a week and a half ago were either very brave or very stupid - or both.
